by Covid has left everyone with just one or no member. We feel saddened to inform you that the wife of our legendary athlete S. Milkha Singh and former captain of India’s Volleyball Team, Sdn. Nirmal kaur took her last breath at the age of 85.
Nirmal Kaur tested positive for Covid-19 last month and was admitted to Mohali’s Fortis Hospital. She was seen battling with covid-19 at 85. It is really deep that our Flying Sikh S. Milkha Singh Ji could not even attend the cremation of her beloved as he is also admitted in ICU of PGIMER in Chandigarh.
She battled for life strongly but could not make it and took her last breath at 4 P.M on Sunday. We pray that such a beautiful soul rests in paradise and God gives strengths to the family. We also pray that Milkha Singh Ji returns back healthy and battles the covid-19 strongly.
